superbike handlebar 0084 steel
Motorbike handlebar superbike 0084 | The classic
Produced by high-strength steel
Clamping area: Ø22.2 mm
Tested in accordance with recent requirements
Measure: see hereto drawing
Including homologation paper (ABE)
Note!
The mounting of the handlebars is only possible at motorcycles that have risers with a diameter of Ø22.2 mm.
All pipes and Bowden cables have to be laid in a way that they are free of kinks and free of tension when moving the handlebar. Moreover, there must be sufficient distance to rub marks.
The brake hoses are not allowed to fall below a bending radius of 40mm. On a full steering lock and a running motor, the engine speed on both sides does not change.
You have to take care that all parts and control units of the handlebar are in a functional position, also when the steering is fully locked. The brake cylinder resp. the reservoirs have to be in a functional position.
You have to take care of the handlebars’ freedom of movement, of its add-on components as well as of its sufficient steering stop angle to both sides.
After the installation a functional control of the brake, clutch, throttle grip, lighting, and signal horn is of high importance.
Please, check the approval of the handlebar for your motorcycle based on the recent homologation paper ABE (see hereto [seite: motorradzubehoer-gutachten])! Mostly, the registration for not listed motorcycle types is possible when having talked to the German inspecting authority TÜV / DEKRA, § 19.2.
